The wired has a faster response time. Also did you know that the wired controller can be used for certain computer games to. So if you game on your computer to that can come in handy. Also it does not need batteries to use it just plug into your xbox and enjoy. There are two cons when using a wired controller: 1. Depending on where you put your xbox you probably wont have enough cord to move around. 2. it uses the usb port on your xbox so if you have a lot of things pluged into your xbox like music players for example or usb ports thats one more less port to use.

Now for a wireless controller. I think this is a good option to cause you can move around more or sit far back from your xbox as long as your still 30 feet near your xbox so it can still be found by the xbox. This type of controller uses batteries, but you can use rechargeable batteries. Retail stores like walmart or gamestop for example sell recharegeable batteries you can use and devices to charge them with like plug and play( it uses a cable that hooks up to your xbox that use the power from the xbox to charge the controller while your using it or have the xbox in stand by mode or you can use it on your computer to charge the controller) name a few.

So bottome line is that it all depends on your taste and which one is better with you.

u either need a usb transfer cable for ur phone or if ur computer has an sd card slot and ur pics are saved on an sd card on ur phone use an sd card adapter to make it fit in ur computer, then look through the folders to find ur pics. if u use the tranfer cable, u might need to download ur phones software from the makers website or from a link from google.

Ok, my xbox fell over while I was playing and the disc tray scratched a clear circle on the bottom of the disc. Solutions? This is my MW2 disc, so this is REALLY important. Well if your Xbox 360 cannot read or even recognize the disc after getting that scratch, then installing your friends MW2 will not work. The 360 has to at least recognize the disc and if it cant get past that scratch, youre out of luck as far as that disc goes. Your only options are to go to Gamestop and buy a new or used copy, get the game from one of your friends, or to wait for the game to be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace for Games on Demand. And next time, place your 360 flat (horizontal) so it wont fall over.

Yes you can buy full games. Not all disc games are available for download there so check first.

Playstation Plus does give you a discount... BUT...not on every game, they choose certain games and change them every month. Some are 20% off and some are 50%...but they choose the games that are discounted and only a few of them are.

It's the sony DSC-T500, it's slim like I want, and I like the HD recording and the 10.1 megapixels, and I have been wanting a digital camera for quite some time, is this a good one?

We just put the new T500 through its paces during the arrival of our new baby. Both still shots and HD video taken with the camera came out beautifully. Camera performance is excellent. The touch screen controls are intuitive, the options are plenty (if you want to bother with them), and the quality of the output is great.

The only reasons I'm not giving the camera at 5/5 is that the battery seems to get dragged down rather quickly (admittedly mostly due to video usage), and the included docking station is required to plug the camera into your Mac (or PC). As I travel a fair bit, and like the small size of the camera, it's a bit of a shame that a docking station is needed, in addition to the USB cable (would be optimal if you could plug straight into the camera and avoid the extra hardware).

One last point to note is that this camera is the better choice if you want video and still photo capability in one. If you're looking for a camera that can store a ton of still pics on board, without requiring the not included Memory Stick Duo cards, then go with the T700 model.

All in all, this is a solid camera, with a great output, in a perfect size. Definitely can't go wrong.

i have a aiptec mega pixel digital camcorder. i was taking pictures of myself and there was one messed up picture and i tried to turn the camera off and it wasn't responding so i to out one of the batteries and it just shows a black screen and nothing shows up. can you tell me what it means and what i can do to fix it

Mine did that when i put in a new and larger memory card (mine was a new digital camera though-not camcorder).

I went from a 1gig to a 4gig and formatted it and everything and it still messed up just like what you're describing.

I had to keep taking the battery out to even get it to shut off.

I ended up putting my old card back in it and it has worked great since.

Ebay is your best bet. Determine the filter diameter required for your camera, like 37mm or whatever, and then search EBay with "37mm fisheye lens" and you'll get a few thousand hits.

Most will be crappy plastic, and cheap.

so i bought a lomo fisheye camera a few months back and took some pictures with it until the roll was done, however when i put the roll of film back in the canister i didnt mark it so now i have four canisters with film rolls in them but not sure which is the one i used already, the others were not used so i was wondering if there was a way i could tell a used roll of film from a unused one,thanks in advance

normally when film is rewound it goes entirely back inside the cassette. you should have 3 with a pigtale of film ready to load, and one that does not have a film end showing.

Did you try holding it up to a light to see if you can see the pictures in it. Or my other suggestion: just buy a digital camera :D.

I can a Canon Power Shot 750, which I absolutely LOVED. Last week it had a bad fall and I had it repaired but now its having more problems. If they can't / won't fix it, I may have to resort to buying new, but I don't really know where to start.

All of the major brands are good. Choose a brand that appeals to you. Then you have to think about getting a spare battery, what size memory card, if you want an extended warranty, how much you can afford, what size zoom, if you want manual controls, the size of the camera, finding a reliable place to purchase it, and the list goes on and on and on.......

The first thing to realize is that almost any digital camera will take good pictures. If more people would read the manual more than once, they would be able to take better pictures. Usually, the person assumes it is the camera when it could be them not knowing exactly what to do. Just give yourself more photographic knowledge by doing more reading on the internet.

I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.

The person needs to read alot of reviews on cameras so they can decide on the features that they really want and need.

Go to the store and hold them so you can see if they feel comfortable in your hands. If possible, take some pictures in the store to check the quality of the pictures.

I can only give a suggestion of what to look for in a new digital camera.

You have damaged your camera by dropping it. The only solution is to...either try and get it repaired or to buy a new one.

Buying a new one would most likely be the better and cheaper option.

If you do buy a new camera, I'd advise you to attach the wrist strap and always use it...because it will save your camera from permanent damage if you were to drop it.

please ignore the dork who said sale it on eBay. -500 points for the moron. more than likely you wont be able to fix it. when you shake the camera does anything sound loose inside? if not more than likely something broke off the circuit board itself. also have you tried removing its battery and such so it will reset. also some digital cameras have a small pinhole to reset them back to factory defaults. if none of those works you pretty much have a paper weight. unless you know someone who works on them as a hobby.

The problem is that most digital cameras (even DSLR's with a live view) can't be used with stop motion software since they all go into a "generic hard drive" mode for uploading pics when plugged into a computer. That's why stop motion programs can't detect your camera; it's not made to provide a live video feed when plugged into a computer.

Webcams are the easiest to use with stop motion software since the whole point of them is to provide a live video feed while hooked up to a computer. Camcorders can be used as well, just make sure that whichever way it provides a Video Out signal (USB, Firewire, RCA Jack) that your computer has a proper port/jack for it. If not, you might need an adapter.

Keep in mind you can still use your digital camera for stop motion. You just need to take all your pics first, then upload them onto your computer and turn them into a video. Most stop motion software can take pics off your hard drive and compile them into video.

Your new digital camera will come with a User Manual, so you just need to read it.

But, the usual way to transfer images to your computer is by direct camera to computer connection via a USB cable (which always comes supplied with the camera). Or, you can use the memory card with a card reader.

Once your images have been transferred to your computer, you should easily be able to upload them to whichever site your like (these sites will give you directions on how to upload).

im sorry to say, but your camera is pretty much toast,

the lens is probably misaligned after the impact.

it could probably be fixed, but warranty will not cover it, therefore it might be better to just recycle the camera and buy a new one (vs. cost of repairing it)

If I understand your question, the answer is (sort of) yes.

It isn't so much the number of times you press the shutter button, as all rechargeable batteries will wear out. The more you use them, the more you have to recharge them, and the sooner they will fail. This can take a few months, or (hopefully) a few years.

It isn't just the times you press the shutter button. Having the camera on draws power, even with the camera off the battery loses a small amount of power. Any rechargeable battery that is not on a charger is losing power. It's what they do.

The AE-1 is a classic example of the early "auto exposure" 35mm film cameras. It uses Shutter Priority as its form of "auto exposure" so you choose a shutter speed and the camera will choose an f-stop that will result in a correct exposure. Of course you can also choose full manual metering.

Load a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 and you'll be impressed with the results you get.

It's a great little camera. You do indeed have to think before each shot--the good old way, and the right way to learn photography.

So you know, you can get used lenses for it very cheaply. Keep in mind that it uses the old Canon mouth, and this means it will not physically fit any current Canon camera (film or digital) if you decide to buy one now.

It is a very good camera. Since it isn't the Program model, you actually have to think about what you are doing while you take pictures. This is a good thing!

I learned many years ago, with a Canon AL-1, very similar to this. For the 1st 6 months I owned it, all I had was the Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens. Cameras didn't come with zoom lenses that far back... they all came with a 50mm. Zooming was done with your feet!

Enjoy the camera, and the experience.

For a film camera I'd say it's probably just fine. Buying used? Be careful.

My camera is taking cloudy pictures, where do I take it to get it fixed?

I dropped it in the tub a few months ago, but barely before I caught it. I'm sure this is why the lens is "cloudy". The pics come out looking hazy, although, you can still see the pic pretty well. It is a Nikon Coolpix. Can I take it somewhere to get it fixed.

don't take it to be fixed, open up all the "doors" of the camera cover the lens to protect it. Place the camera with doors open into a bag of rice. Make sure it's completely covered by rice. Let sit over night. Clean out all rice so none is stuck inside camera parts. Let dry more with doors open. Check the next day to see if the cloudiness is gone. If it is, you just saved yourself a bunch of dough. If not bring it to a Ritz Camera if you have one.

Any service or camera shop could help you if it's just trapped water/condesation...

Always use strap to avoid dropping the camera!

I have a nikon s210 and I accidentally left it out in the rain. It was during a pretty bad storm and I was wondering if it was broken or if I could get a new one free of charge.

Did you try taking a picture with it? That would be the first thing to do. Make sure you pressed the display button so that you can see if the screen will come up. Try accessing the menus. If non of this stuff works then you may need a new one.

It's dead, you can't get a new one, leaving it out in the rain voids the warranty. You will have to purchase a new one.

all you need is an adapter so that your mic and cable will work with your camera. The camera uses a mini plug that's 3.5mm. figure out what your mic and cable have at its end, then buy the adapter from radio shack and you're good to go.
