i Wanted to buy a Xbox 360 pro 60gb i tried craigslist it seems their not serious in selling i wanted to know when the price will drop in 2010 dont BS me saying who knows say the real answer or your estimate thanks :P
A friend of mine who seems to be pretty big into the 360 (and he worked at Gamestop for a few years) keeps telling me that there's going to be a price drop coming up sometime soon. I got the impression that he meant the next few months, summer at the latest, but I haven't been able to find any other sources online saying this. He's usually pretty accurate on when thigns come out so I tend to believe him. I'm sort of waiting for it too, as I'm looking at getting an elite. Also, he was guessing at only like a $50 drop or so, so I wonder if it's wortht the wait.
The Xbox 360s price recently dropped quite a bit. And in 2010 they will most likely launch a new console, so in the end it's personal choice. The new Xbox will be backwards compatible, so you can play every game released to date.
But don't wait, since the rumors will only start in 2010. The actual console will be released in 2011 or even 2012.
It can't be for sure, but we could expect to see a price drop around 2010.
By that time Microsoft will be talking about the release of a new Xbox console, since the 360 was released around 5 years ago. If there isn't a price drop in 2010 at all then there will be one in late 2009 or early 2011.
Xbox 360's have had quite a significant price drop already - most manufacturers are selling them for under 200 - depending on the model!
