Does a lot of continous clicks in a camera decrease its battery life?

Does a lot of continous clicks in a camera decrease its battery life? And does the number of clicks has anything to do with the camera's battery life?

If I understand your question, the answer is (sort of) yes.

It isn't so much the number of times you press the shutter button, as all rechargeable batteries will wear out. The more you use them, the more you have to recharge them, and the sooner they will fail. This can take a few months, or (hopefully) a few years.

It isn't just the times you press the shutter button. Having the camera on draws power, even with the camera off the battery loses a small amount of power. Any rechargeable battery that is not on a charger is losing power. It's what they do.
